If Chad can paint a room in 2 hours, he can paint 1/2 room per hour. Cassie can then paint 1/3 room per hour.

Together, they can paint room per hour. So together they can paint one room in hour. is 1 and 1/5. 1/5 hour is minutes. So working together, they can paint the room in 1 hour and 12 minutes.
