Answer by edjones(8007)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Linda can do 1/6 of the job in 1 hr.
Laura can do 2/11 of the job in 1 hr.
1/6 + 2/11
=11/66 + 12/66 = 23/66 of the job together in 1 hr.
So, 66/22 = 3 hrs to do the job together.
