Question 131422: Hello I submitted this problem earlier but, forgot the 2 in my email. Could I still have help in solving it. Thank you. Sam takes 4 days to brick a home. He estimates his trainee takes 6 days. If they work together how much time would it take to brick a home?

( 1 job/4 days) + (1 job/6 days) = (1 job/x days)

multiply both sides by



It takes them 2.4 days working together
