THE REFERENCE TO THE 20 IN, 25 IN OR 10 IN. TV SET IS THE MEASUREMENT OF THE DIAGONAL MEASUREMENT.
SO IF YOU HAVE A 10 IN. DIAGONAL & ONE WIDTH IS 8 IN. THEN THE OTHER DIMENSION IS:
X^2+8^2=10^2
X^2+64=100
X^2=100-64
X^2=36
X=6 INCHES FOR THE MISSING HEIGHT.
