Lets write the data as given in the problem.
+ 10 + 1 = x
Adding all the like terms we get:
+ 11 = x
==> + 11 = x
==> 11 = x -
==> 11 =
==> 11 =
==> x = 120
Hence there are 120 apples in the basket.
