An airplane whose speed in still air is 760km/h can travel 2000km with the wind in the same amount of time that it takes to fly 1800km against the wind. What is the speed of the wind?

time equals distance divided by rate __ the times are the same
let x=wind __ 2000/(760+x)=1800/(760-x)
"cross" multiplying __ (2000)(760)-2000x=(1800)(760)+1800x
200(760)=3800x __ 200=5x
