I think you may have an error in the first calculation.
You did not mention that it was $0.89 per minute,
so the first 15 minutes would only cost $0.89.
Also, you mentioned $0.4/minute in the discussion but in the calculation you used $0.04/minute.
40 cents per minute versus 4 cents per minute.
Total cost = (First 15 minute cost) + (Next 15 minutes cost)
Total cost = ($0.89) + ($0.4 OR $0.04)*15
Total cost = ($0.89) + ($6.00 OR $0.60)
Total cost = ($6.89) OR ($1.49)
