It does not assume any knowledge or skills outside of finding derivatives
of standard table functions.
So, it is a routine job for a Calculus student.
How can you "stuck on it" ? Would you like to say that you,
a Calculus student, do not know basic rules of differentiation ?
It is the same as to say "I am stuck on multiplication table".
My impression from your post is that you even are proud of it . . .
