There are a different number of bicycles, tandem bicycles, and tricycles in the Wheel Shop. There are a total of 135 seats, 118 front handle bars (that steer the bike), and 269 wheels. How many are bicycles, tandem bicycles, and tricycles are there in the Wheel Shop? (Hint: A tandem bike has two seats. Bicycles and tricycles have one seat. All of the cycles have one set of front handle bars that steer the bike. A bicycle and tandem bike have two wheels. A tricycle has three wheels.).

there are 118 cycles (118 front handlebars @ one each)

there are 17 more seats than cycles (135-118), so there are 17 tandem bicycles

there are 33 more wheels than twice the number of cycles [269-(2*118)], so there are 33 tricycles

this means that there are 68 bicycles (118-17-33)
