What number would need to replace the      "?"    below
to make a true statement 7p3 - 35p2 - 98p = 7p (p+2) (p -?)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Take the common factor 7p out the parentheses and then factor the remaining quadratic polynomial in parentheses to get
    7p^3 - 35p^2 - 98p = 7p(p^2 - 5p - 14) = 7p*(p+2)*(p-7).
ANSWER.  Replace the question mark "?" by  "7".
Solved.
