V(r)=2.6r models the maximum safe speed in miles per hour at which a car can travel on a curved road
with radius r in feet a highway crew measures the radius of curvature at an exit ramp on a highway as 570 feet
what is the maximum safe speed for this problem round your answer down to the nearest whole number

Looking at your formula in this post,  I think that it is  FATALLY  WRONG.

Indeed, let substitute the value of 570 feet for the radius of the curvature into the formula.

We will obtain for the maximum safe speed

    V(570) = 2.6*570 = 1482 miles per hour,

which is just about two times speed of the sound in the air at normal conditions.

So, discuss this absurdist input data with your professor or, if you know the source of this problem,

let them know about their error.

I truly regret that such absurdist  " problems " circulate in the Internet.
