Question 1192132: The ratio between the acceleration rates of two cars is 4 to 3. The car with the faster
rate can go from 0 to 80 km/h in 9 seconds. How long will it take the slower car to go
from 0 to 80 km/h?
Answer by math_tutor2020(3817) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
(faster acceleration)/(slower acceleration) = (slower time)/(faster time)
4/3 = x/9
4*9 = 3*x
36 = 3x
3x = 36
x = 36/3
x = 12
Answer: 12 seconds
