Question 1183994: Valentina, Luke, Sally, Han and Mae are to be placed in a line in random order.

What is the probability that they will be arranged from tallest to shortest?

Answer by Theo(13342)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
they are 5 people.
the number of possible arrangements is 5! = 5*4*3*2*1 = 20*6 = 120.
only one of those possible arrangements will put them in order of height.
therefore the probability of them being in order of height is 1/120.
