If a 30-meter flagpole casts a shadow that is 50 meters long, how long is the shadow cast by a tree that is 36 meters tall?
I believe I am setting up this problem correctly but I keep getting it wrong...
h/50 =30/36 h=30*50/36 h=41.66 meters tall. This is what I keep getting for the meters and it is saying it is wrong. Please help.
