The floor of a shed has an area of 70 square feet.
let width be w
length = 2w-4
Area = L * W
w(2w-4) =70
2w^2-4w-70 =0
/2
w^2 -2w-35=0
(w-7)(w+5) =0
w=7 or -5
taking positive value w=7 width = 7ft
Length = 2w-4 = 10 length = 10 ft
