As soon as they passed point K which was 1/3 of the total distance, Maggie began to travel at 80km per hour. Both of them took the same number of hours to travel from P to Q.
How long did Maggie take to travel from P to Q.
What was Annie's average speed from point K to town Q.

This problem is BADLY POSED.

Notice that they passed the point K at DIFFERENT TIME MOMENTS.

Hence, at which PRECISELY of these TWO time moments Maggie increased her speed ?

Second notice is CONCEPTUAL/editorial.

        When you say "Maggie and Anne left town P at the same time",

        you SHOULD, actually, say "Maggie and Anne left town P at the same time moving to Q".
