Question 1168249: Bens job to rake all the leaves in his yard. Ben worked four days after school for 45 minutes each day. If his mom offered to pay him $3.50 per day, would he have enough money to buy a new $15.00 CD? How far away from $15.00 is he?
Answer by greenestamps(13203) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
(1) Multiply the $3.50 per day times the 4 days to find the total he earns.
(2) If the total is less than $15, subtract that total from $15 to find how much he is short.
