The passenger finds a local fisherman who agrees to take him across to a dock that is only a few miles from the passenger's destination. The boat travels at a constant speed of 5 miles per hour. After landing at the dock, the passenger hikes alongside the river at a constant rate of 3 miles per hour. The trip from Prainha to the passenger's destination took a total of 6 hours. How far from the dock did the passenger have to hike to arrive at the location of the sunken treasure?

I think that without the map, this problem can not be solved --- without it, there are toooooo many uncertainties in the text.
