General Formula: R = I/Io where R is the Ricter reading, I is the intensity
of the earthquake, Io is the minimum detectible intensity of the seismometer.

For R = 10^8
I = R*Io
I = 10^8 Io

For R = 10^9
I = R*Io
I = 10^9*Io
