ANSWER : L = 65 ft; W = 20 ft.


Solution

It is easy to guess: this pair (65,20) is unique giving the product of 1300 and the sum of 65+20 = 85, half of the perimeter.



It is also easy to get solving the quadratic equation

    W*(85-W) = 1300,

where 85 ft is half of the perimeter   ft.
