Question 1147271: :Please help me solve this word problem: If M Is The Number Of Marbles In Bag A. And Bag B Has Six More Marbles Than In Bag A. And Bag C Has Twice As Much As Marbles In Bag B. And There Are Sixty-Six Marbles Altogether. How Many Marbles Are In Bag A
Answer by VFBundy(438)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Bag A = M
Bag B = M + 6
Bag C = 2(M + 6) = 2M + 12

(M) + (M + 6) + (2M + 12) = 66

4M + 18 = 66

4M = 48

M = 12

Bag A = M = 12
