I desperately need help with this problem. I am an art and English major and I can't believe this problem is part of the homework. I have tried helping myself to no avail. Thank you in advance for helping me to set up and solve. This tired mom will appreciate it.
The resonant frequency of a circuit may be found by the formula
f=1 over 2π√LC
where f is in cycles per second, L is in henrys, and C is in farads. Find the resonant frequency, to the nearest thousand, of a circuit if
L=7.601×10−4 (-4 is in superscript)henrys and C=3.7×10−11 (-11 is in superscript) farads.
The resonant frequency is f=________cycyles per second.

it helps to have a scientific calculator to solve a problem such as this.

then it's just a matter of plugging in the numbers.

using my trusty TI-84 Plus, i get f = 949038.6581 cycles per second.

if they want it rounded to the nearest whole cycles per second, then your answer would probably be 949039 cycles per second.

if they want it rounded to the nearest thousandth of a cycle, then your answer would probably be 949038.658 cycles per second.

if they want it rounded to the nearest thousand cycles, then your answer would probably be 949 thousand cycles per second.
