Question 1130063: If all the ice melted in the cup, would it overflow?
A snowcone with a radius of 4 cm is sold in a cone-shaped paper cup with a height of 12 cm and an opening 6 cm wide.
(i don't know if the snow is a sphere or if it molds to the shape of the cone-shaped paper cup)

Assume that the cone is filled and a hemisphere "solid" extends from the circular opening.

note that the snowcone material contains some air. It's not all water & sugar & flavoring.

The snow-cone is indeed a sphere, so you need to calculate its volume.
Also calculate the volume of the cone that the snow-cone rests in.
If the volume of the snow-cone is greater than the volume of the cone, then the liquid formed from the snow-cone melting will overflow. Otherwise, no!!

take the meniscus into account, too.
