Answer by ikleyn(52787)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
.
D + R = 100

D - R =  14

Add the two equations. You will get

2D = 114,  which implies  D = 114/2 = 57.

Then R = 100 - 57 = 43.

Solved.
