If the value of my five-dollar bills is $35.00, how much money do I have in total.

1.  The number of the $5 banknotes is   = 7.


2.  The number of the $20 banknotes is  3*7 = 21.


3.  The amount in $20 banknotes is  21*20 = 420 dollars.


4.  In all, there are  420 + 35 = 455 dollars.
