Answer by Theo(13342) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
if mean = 80 and s = 10, and a z-score of -2, this means that the raw score is 2 standard deviations below the mean, therefore equal to 60.
z = (x - m) / s
-2 = (x - 80) / 10
solve for x to get x = -20 + 80 = 60.
