How many of each kind of roll were there?

salmon + tuna  + California = 28


2x     + (x+4) + x          = 28


4x + 4 = 28  ====>  4x = 28 - 4 = 24  ====>  x =  = 6.


Answer.  6 California rolls;  6*2 = 12 salmon rolls;  6+4 = 10 tuna rolls.
