38.5/x = 13.6 + (5 � x)/x
Multiply by x to get: 38.5 = 13.6x + 5 � x
38.5 � 5 = 13.6x � x
33.5 = 12.6x
33.5/12.6 = x
x = 2.658730159
Any other answer is WRONG!!

Tutor teachmath got this one right, and even showed his work for once. But I think x=335/126 is a better answer than his decimal approximation.

The other tutor left out part of the original equation....
