there were 160 paperclips in 4 boxes A B C D. 12 paperclips were transfered from A to B. 1/3 of the paperclips in B were transferred to C. 17 paperclips from D were transferred to C. Each of the boxes then had an equal number of paperclips.
how many were in each box at first.
A = 52 I worked that out same as book
D=57 I worked that out same as book
B =book says 48 me 42
C=book says 3 me 9

2(b+12)=120
b+12=60
b=48
1/3(48+12)+17+c=40
60/3+17+c=40
