Since the focus: (3, 2) is to the LEFT of the VERTEX (5, 2), this is a PARABOLA with a HORIZONTAL AXIS of SYMMETRY. 
Therefore, the CONIC form of the PARABOLA with a HORIZONTAL AXIS, or is used.
