According to Seattle Post-Intelligencer (July 10, 2007) 900 million pounds of trash per year is transported from Seattle to a landfull in Arlington, Oregon. It costs Seattle $23 million to transport the trash.
Write the numbers given above in scientific notation, and compute the cost to transport one pound of trash.
