Question 106362: help!!! my # is a multiple of 150 -- 9 is a factor of my # -- my # has 3 digits

I think you meant to say, as the last condition, that the sum of the digits in your number is 9.

Given that your number is a multiple of 150, you know that the number is greater than or equal to 150. Given that the number has 3 digits, you know that the number is less than 1000. The multiples of 150 between those limits are: 150, 300, 450, 600, 750, and 900.
Of these choices, two have 9 as a sum of the digits, 450 and 900. These two numbers also have 9 as a factor. 9 X 50 = 450, and 9 X 100 = 900. (In fact, any number that has 9 or a multiple of 9 as a sum of the digits is evenly divisible by 9). Hence, your problem has two equally valid answers, namely 450 and 900.
If you were expected to come up with one unique answer, then perhaps you forgot to provide one of the conditions.
