Find the width and length of the fenced-in area.
:
length of the fence
L + 2W = 9494
Replace L with (W+44)
(W+44) + 2W = 9494
3W = 9494 - 44
3W = 9450
W = 9450/3
W = 3150 ft is the width
and
3150 + 44 = 3194 ft is the length
