second piece is x+7
third piece is 2(x+7)
The sum is x+x+7+2x+14=4x+21=57
4x=36
x=9 feet
x+7=16 feet
2(x+7)-32 feet

3rd piece:: 2(x+7) = 2x+14

2nd piece = x+7 = 16 ft
3rd piece = 2(x+7) = 32 ft
