agnes had a total of 135 balloons. There were 3 times as many red as green balloons, twice as many blue balloons as green ballons and some purple balloons. When 12 green ballons burst, there were one third as many green as purple left.how many purple and green ballons did agnes initially have.

r=3g
b=2g
3g+g+2g+p=135
6g+p=135
(g-12)*3=p
p=3g-36
So 3g+g-12+2g+3g-36=123, putting all the other color numbers in terms of number of green balloons.
9g-48=123
9g=171
g=19 green balloons
57 red balloons
38 green balloons, and to make 135
21 purple balloons.
When 12 green balloons burst, there were 7 left, 1/3 of the 21 purple balloons
Answer is originally 19 green balloons and 21 purple balloons.
