Factor 3x^2 + 26x + 51 and use the result to find the prime factors of 32651
-----
3x^2+26x+51 = (x+3)(3x+17)
------
3x^2 + 26x + 51 = 32600 + 51
-----
3x^2 + 26x = 32600
------
3x^2 + 26x = 30000 + 2600 = 3(100^2) + 26(100)
----
So, x = 100
-------
Prime factors are x+3 = 103 and 3x+17 = 317
--------
103*317 = 32651
---------------------

Factor 3x^2 + 26x + 51 and use the result to find the prime factors of 32651
I need the solution for the problem
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
 =  = (x+3)*(3x+17).
This is how to factor it.
How did I get it?
By solving the quadratic equation, I found the roots, and then got factoring.
I don't know how it is connected with factoring of the number 32651 into prime factors.
But I can factor this number independently:
32651 = 103*317.
Now I see that it is my polynomial and my factorization of it at x = 100.
But how I could get this idea for advance ???
