3x � y = 0
This is the solution I came up with when I worked it out
3x + y = 6
3(0) + y = 6
y = 6

3x + 0 = 6
x = 6/3
x = 2
Points (2, 0) (0, 6)
3x � y = 0
3(0) � y = 0
y = 0 + 0
y = 0
3x � 0 = 0
3x � 0 = 0
x = 0/3
x = 0
Points (0,0) (0,0)
I am not sure if this is a trick queation or what, but I am unable to plot the points for (0,0) (0,0)and make the treadline because both points end up on zero.
It was easy to plot Points (2, 0) (0, 6)and make the treadline.
Since I am unable to gat a treadline for Points (0,0) (0,0)how can I find the final solution set that solves the system? What am I doing wrong???

Solve the system by graphing.
3x + y = 6
3x � y = 0

Solve each equation for "y":
y = -3x+6
y = 3x
-------------------
Graphing y = -3x+6
Let x=0, then y = 6 giving you point (0,6)
Let x = 1, then y = -3+6 = 3 giving you point (1,3)
Plot these two points and draw a line thru them

Graphing y = 3x
Let x = 0, then y = 3*0 = 0 giving you point (0,0)
Let x = 1, then y = 3*1 = 3 giving you point (1,3)
Plot these two points and draw a line thru them

Graph both lines on the same coordinate system to
find the point of intersection:

Point of intersection is (1,3)
