Answer by stanbon(75887)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
The profit that the vendor makes per day by selling x pretzels is given by the function P(x)= -11.1x^2+9.1x+11.2. Find the number of pretzels that must be sold to maximize profit.
----------------------
Maximum occurs when x = -b/(2a) = -9.1/(2*-11.1) = 0.409
----
That is an unreasonable number of pretzels.
