Question 1032301: At t seconds a projectile is at height h meters were h= 70t - 9?8t^2
1.what time does it take to reach the greatest night
2. what is the greatest height?
Answer by jorel555(1290) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
It's greatest height is achieved halfway through it's total flight. Solving for t, the total time of trajectory, we get:
70t=9.8t^2
70=9.8t
t=70/9.8=7.142857
t/2=3.571428 seconds to max height
h=70(3.571428)-9.8(3.571428)^2=250-125=125ft. max height!!!!!!
