Question 103142: a virus scanning program is checking every file for viruses. it has completed 40% of the files in 300 seconds. how long would it take to check all the files?

Answer by HyperBrain(694)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
If 40% is done in 300 seconds, then 1% is done in 300/40 seconds or 7.5 seconds.
Thus, the WHOLE JOB is done in 100*7.5=750 seconds!
Tomorrow I will make a lesson about this! If you need further assistance, contact me.
