I gave an analysis for this identical problem yesterday and showed the system of equations in six variables, and described a strategy to solve the system. Do you still need help in how to solve that system?

You REALLY must begin with the system of the six equations in the six unknown variables. You can, as I described, use suitably described substitutions to cut this down to FOUR equations in FOUR unknown variables.

You can use JUST 2 variables, but I reached a snag when trying to solve it. Are you sure that all was stated? Does equal number of
chocolate cookies and cakes mean that the number of chocolate cookies and cakes are equal, or the number of chocolate cookies and
chocolate cakes are equal? Clarity NEVER EVER seems to be part of the MO for these people who create these math problems.
Clarify and I'll solve it for you, as simply as possible.
