OK, so 17 feet is 17x12= 204+8= 212 inches is the length
And 11 feet is 11x12= 132+8= 140 inches is the width.

Now, we are talking about SQUARED numbers, right? So, 1 foot = 12 inches and 1 square foot = 12^2=144 inches.
