Answer by Nate(3500)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
width = x
length = 2x - 5
2*width + 2*length = 230
2(x) + 2(2x - 5) = 230
2x + 4x - 10 = 230
6x = 240
x = 40
width = x or 40 feet
length = 2x - 5 or 75 feet
