The perimeter of a basketball court is 280 feet the length is 44 foot longer than the width find the dimension of the court
--------
Perimeter = 2(length + width)
280 = 2(x+44 + x)
140 = 2x+44
2x = 96
x = 48 ft (width)
x+44 = 92 ft (length)
