Question 988696: find the measure of two supplementary angles, N and M, if the measure of angle N is 5 less than 4 times the measure of angle M.
Answer by Boreal(15235) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
angle m=x
N=4x-5
Their sum must be 180, for that is what a supplementary angle is
4x-5+x=180
5x=185
x=37 deg
4x-5=143 deg
They add to 180 deg
