You require to find the perimeter of the carpet.
Perimeter = 2xLength + 2xWidth
Perimeter = 2 x 4 + 2 x 2ft 6 ins.
Perimeter = 8 + 5 ft
Perimeter = 13ft
13ft of braid is required.
