Area = length*width
2L +2W=36 meters; L+W=18 meters, dividing both sides by 2.
L*W=80 sq meters But L=18-W
(18-W)*W=80
-W^2+18W=80
W^2-18W=-80, multiplying by (-1)
W^2-18W+80=0
(W-10)(W-8)=0
Width can be 10 or 8; by convention, we take the width as the lesser.
Width is 8
Length is 10
Perimeter is 2(18)=36 m.
Area is 8*10 m^2.

36m=2(L+W)
18m=L+W
