Question 941562: The perimeter of a triangular lot is 117m. The lengths of two sides are each 4/5 of the length of the third side. Find the length of each side.
Answer by srinivas.g(540)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
let x be the length of e third side
length of other two sides = 4/5 ox x
= 4x/5
perimeter (sum of length of all sides) = 117

multiply with 5 on both sides
{{ (13x/5)*5 =117*5}}}

divide with 13 on both sides

length of third side(x) = 45
lengths of other two sides =
=
= 36
Result : lengths of all three sides as follows 36,36,45
