Question 940303: The length of a rectangle (L) is 8in. more than its width (W). The perimeter of the rectangle is 24in. What are the width and length of the triangle.
Answer by macston(5194)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
L=W+8
2L+2W=Perimeter
2(W+8)+2W=24 in
2W+16+2W=24 in
4W+16=24 in
4W=8 in
W=2
L=W+8
L=2+8=10
