6x+2y=26
−9x+5y=−19
..
18x+6y=78 (mult. eq. by 3)
-18x+10y=-38 (mult. eq. by 2)
add:
16y=40
y=40/16=5/2=2.5
6x=26-2y
6x=26-5
6x=26-5=21
x=21/6=3.5
point of intersection: (3.5,2.5)
